This pathway takes you from one simple home-made tool right through to a full chocolate centrepiece, all in the spirit of Easter. You will start by making your own basket weave stamp, then use it on a charming wheelbarrow and painted egg cake before tackling a big-eared 3D bunny with piped fur, a woven basket and colourful eggs. Finally, Serdar shows you how to work almost entirely in chocolate, moulding eggs and palms to build a bunny lounging on a tropical island.
It suits hobby decorators who are comfortable layering, masking and coating a cake, as well as professionals looking for seasonal pieces they can sell year after year. Along the way you will practise fondant texturing, egg painting, grass and foliage effects, fur piping, chocolate moulding and assembly of a standing display piece.
By the end you will be able to produce a complete Easter table: a cheerful decorated celebration cake, a sculpted 3D bunny cake, and a chocolate centrepiece that needs no cake at all.
